Today, we are driving from Madisonville to Owensboro, Kentucky to visit with Kitty's Aunt Ruth and
Uncle A.W.. Since it was raining and flood warnings were issued, we decided to make the one hour drive by using the four lane roads all the way into Owensboro.
We arrived mid morning and visited for a while before we all headed to Moonlight BBQ for lunch. This is a very popular BBQ restaurant with excellent BBQ and vegetables and deserts. We always enjoy eating here whenever we are in Owensboro.
After lunch, Uncle Dub and Aunt Ruth's son, Gary, joined us and we spent the next hour updating each other on all activities since our last visit.

Today, Karri's middle son, Brandon, graduates from high school. This is the first of three graduations we will attend in the next nine days. Brandon plans to attend trade school this fall to become a certified electrician. We are very proud of the nice young man Brandon has become.

We really enjoyed our visits while here in Kentucky. We attended two graduations and were able to spend quality time with kids, grand children, and many friends. But, our time here has come to an end, and it's time to head to Illinois for more family visits and another graduation.
